Walking

Well, it wasn't long before Katelyn started walking some on her own last night. She was determined to do it herself. She looks like a pregnant lady when she walking right now because her hips aren't quite aligned yet (just need some strengthening). It was cute though... she just kept giggling while she was walking and said "Katelyn walking!" Of course the boys were very excited for her and kept encouraging her.

Katelyn did have a hard time sleeping last night. She kept having bad dreams or something. I don't think they were night terrors... she responded too quickly afterwards for it to be that. Not sure if she's remembering something from her time in China or the surgery... she just covers her face with her blanket and starts screaming "no no no." I know it'll pass...

As far as pain is concerned... she definitely gets uncomfortable after doing a lot of walking, but it's not to the point of her crying or anything. They didn't send us home with any meds... just told us to give her Tylenol or Motrin if needed. It's funny, before the surgery if she fell down or bumped her head, the tears would flow and you'd think it was the end of the world... but here she's had major surgery and all she needs is Tylenol?!?!? Yeah, we've got a little drama queen here!! :o)

Guess that's about it for now... The guys are at church (Katelyn isn't ready for all that quite yet), and I need to go clean the house a bit while Katelyn is watching cartoons.
