Below is a video and a couple of pics of Katelyn riding her bike... this was actually my bike when I was her age. My dad made some platforms for the pedals so her feet would stay on the pedals better... it also helps keep her feet/legs in proper alignment. Dad used to customize bikes for children with cerebral palsy, so he was more than able to modify Katelyn's bike. You'll also see Andrew in the video... he decided to hop on Jacob's bike... he was in a pretty goofy mood yesterday!

Below are pics of Katelyn at the playground last week. She's wearing a cute little dress that my friend Melissa made. She even made Katelyn a purse to match... so cute!!! There is also a short clip of Katelyn going down the slide... and pics of Katelyn and Jacob with some of their friends.

Ok, so maybe she isn't sitting very "lady-like," but that's
how she wanted to pose!! :o)

Katelyn LOVES to climb on things!!

Jacob and his girls!
Jacob decided he wants to marry this sweet princess!!! Guess that's about it for now... the kids don't have school tomorrow, so we'll be heading out for a day at the park. Hopefully we'll get some more good pics... and this time perhaps some with Andrew!

Katelyn is awesome on her bike. We need to get some pedal lifts for Josie. She was never ever able to use her bike before the snow starting flying in West Michigan. I love how much our girls are changing. They look so healthy and well adjusted.
Hugs, my friend!!
Wow! What a change! She's absolutely adorable. So glad to see how mobile she is! It was good to hear from you on the Yahoo group! It seems like we were in China 5 YEARS ago, not 5 months ago! So happy to hear from you and thanks for the link to your blog.
Take care,
Jennifer
Hi Nicole!!
It was great hearing from you on the Yahoo group! Katelyn sure is getting prettier every day. I'm so excited that she is doing well and her physical therapy is helping her. 5 months - yep, doesn't seem like it at all. Tiana is also not talking yet and didn't speak any Chinese when we first got her. Right now we hear just babble but we are just going to take it day by day. She should start some speech therapy in the next month.
Hugs,
Carla
Amazing!! She really rides well, we haven't even tried a tricycle yet with Lia- I doubt she could do it (yet).
Katelyn looks fabulous in the videos. I'm shocked by the changes. Does it seem like a flash of a moment has gone by, but at the same time like its always been like this?
