Welcome Home Katelyn!!!
We had a great time on Saturday celebrating Katelyn's homecoming and the start of the Olympics. We recorded the opening ceremonies from the night before and watched them on Saturday. WOW!!! That was spectacular!!!!
Thanks to all those that came on Saturday (all 46 of you!!!)... and thank you so much for the sweet gifts! For the party, we displayed some of our souvenirs from China and some of Katelyn's paperwork, and we had yummy Chinese snacks. Katelyn had a blast playing with all the children that were here and wasn't even that clingy! Here are some pics from the party...
Yummy food!!! We also had dumplings...
Katelyn and Kylie... did they learn how to vacuum in China???
Andrew, Katelyn and Jacob getting ready for their friends to come...
FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!
The Biesiadecki Family...
Laurie and Kylie (doesn't Laurie look ready for her referral???)
We also got to visit with my parents and my brother's boys this weekend... they arrived on Thursday and left on Saturday afternoon. Andrew and Jacob were so excited to see their cousins again... and Katelyn took to them pretty quickly. Here are just a couple of pics from our visit...
The boys playing with their Webkinz online...
Do you know how tough it is to get 5 kids
to sit still for a pic??? Turned out ok!!!

The party looks like it was a lot of fun! And the adoption community is indeed a small one. I had no idea that you were friends with the Biesiadecki family! We were part of the same LID group for our first adoption. Kristen is great!
It looks like a fantastic time was had by all. Great pictures. I'm going to order the Olympic DVD when it becomes available the end of September through NBC. The opening ceremony was truly amazing.
Best wishes with your upcoming appt for Katelyn. Keep us posted.
Looks like you guys had so much fun.. loved seeing that pic of Laurie- she looks like a natural, can't wait for the day Hannah is snuggled up with her!
we had a great time-thanks for the invite and hope to see you soon!
Thanks for hangin' out at our blog for awhile. We were jazzed to hear that we'll get to share in your adoption journey at Lam's on Monday. It will be Joanna Mei's first meeting, so hopefully, she'll be charming - I do believe that her mission in life is to rule the uiverse. In case we forget, thanks for referring us to the visa courier in Chicago. She did the job and got them to us 3 days earlier than promised. We had them in plenty of time for our vacation in Hawaii before going directly to Beijing.
Nicole, I've marked your new blog - it looks wonderful! And your girl is growing so fast andlooking fantastic!!
OOXX
Sounds like fun! I sure miss emailing with you on a daily basis-soon I will figure out a way to squeeze more than 10 minutes of computer time in to my day, right?
